World premiere of Zurvan (for Large orchestra – Dedicated to my wife Martyna Kosecka) by National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan under baton of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov,at the closing ceremony of The 5th International Festival of Symphonic Music in Tashkent.
Thrilled to announce that i’m invited to Uzbekistan as composer in residence at The 5th International Festival of Symphonic Music in Tashkent, for performance of my piece for large orchestra “Zurvan”, also to run masterclass and lecture about my music at “The State conservatory of Uzbekistan” in Tashkent & “Samarkand College of Art and Music”.
World premiere of Siyâh mashq III (for harpsichord) by virtuoso Liselotte Sels, , who commissioned this piece for her special research project “EMRUZ | TODAY – New music from Iran and the Iranian diaspora ” at Witte Zaal of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp (deSingel).
As the members and representatives of INTERNATIONAL CONFEDERATION OF ELECTROACOUSTIC MUSIC (CIME / ICEM), Martyna Kosecka & Idin Samimi Mofakham will attempt the 36th General Assembly of International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music in China, Beijing, October 25-27, 2018.
They will present a lecture with the topic “Usage of Iranian traditional music as a main source for Electro-Acoustic composition” by Martyna Kosecka & Idin Samimi Mofakham. What is more, three selected fix media pieces by Iranian artists will be presented during the concerts at the Central Conservatory of Music of Beijing’s Recital Hall.
Last but not least, Kosecka & Samimi Mofakham in their SpectroDuo ensemble will perform the Chinese premiere of I.M.FREE – live performance for piano, saxophone, electronics and video.
Hesâr is going to be performed the 10th anniversary if formation of XelmYa Trio in Berlin.

Idin Samimi Mofakham will actively participate in 3rd International Contemporary Music Festival in Tehran, both as an artistic co-director of events, as well as the performer and composer during the one-week meeting with contemporary music.
